7/01/20

6-foot, 200-pound, strong, durable athletic pitchers frame. Already filling out, has a wider back, with strength through. A right-handed pitcher, works off of tempo and timing, hands start low and work up with smooth leg raise. The direction with lower half is inline, lands with a closed front foot. The front side glove, shows minimal pull, arm action is long and clean on the backside, working out of a natural 3/4 slot. The fastball reached 83 mph, showing arm side run, with the ability to pound it to the glove side. The breaking ball is bigger in shape, clocked at 64-66 mph, could use a tick more hand speed to it. The changeup was clocked at 70-72 mph, shows fade action, with good shape to it. Look for the stuff to continue to improve, solid follow.

3/04/20

5-foot-11, 200-pound, strong, thick athletic frame, showing durable strength. A right-handed pitcher, delivery has tempo and timing to it, staying over the back side, loaded up, the direction is inline with length to it. The arm action is clean and longer on the backside, a bottom to top path, working from a high 3/4 slot. The frontside glove has some pull and tuck, could stay tracked longer to the plate. The fastball is heavy touching 83 mph, with more in there, comes out of the hand well. The slider is an out pitch, clocked at 67-70 mph, late biting action. The curveball is bigger in shape, 1/7 break, clocked at 65-68 mph. Also dropped in a true changeup at 70-74 mph, showing arm side fade. Like how the baseball coms out of hand, has more in there, look for a jump this year.

10/05/19

5-foot-11, 200-pound right-handed pitcher. Threw the ball very well at the event as he continues to trend up in development. The fastball sat 78-79 mph, minimal arm side run to the pitch. Showed two different spin pitches, both correct in shape. The breaking ball sat 63-64 mph, could use additional fastball hand speed to the pitch. Also, displayed a small slider at 68 mph. The changeup has the correct action, sitting at 66 mph. The delivery has minimal crossfire to the feet and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The lift is repeated and he stays with his arm. Showed the ability to drop the spin pitches in for strikes at any point.

2/10/19

5-foot-11, 200-pound right-handed pitcher and first baseman. On the mound, he showed very well for me. I like the way he is trending. The fastball has arm side run  at times, sitting at 80 mph. The spin pitch is big in shape, sitting 62-63 mph. The pitch needs additional fastball hand speed added to it. The changeup is 67-69 mph, needs a spin fix. The delivery is online and above 3/4 in slot. The tracking and direction of the top half is done very well. The lift is methodical and the arm works clean. The frame is thick and durable. Positionally, solid foot work around the bag. The glove works and he handles himself athletically. Threw 76 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 86 mph. The stance is open, front foot closes down as the ball approaches. The path is uphill as he tries to lift the ball. The hands are strong and maneuvers the barrel well.

Tee Exit Velocity- 86 mph
INF Velocity- 76 mph
