Burke, 6-foot-1, 215-pounds, was a physical presence in the box on Day 1 for PBR Canada. Burke made consistent hard contact throughout the day from the left side, capped off by a line drive ground rule double over the RF’s head. Very physical in the box, and moves well around the diamond for his size. Burke could easily be a late addition to a program that would make an immediate impact at the plate.

6-foot-1 and 225 pounds, broad shoulders with an extra large build and frame. At the plate, he starts narrow with his hands high, loose, with pre-pitch movement to them. As the pitch is being delivered he begins an aggressive leg kick and loads with a large stride, barrels up the baseball. He had an impressive round of batting practice smacking balls all over the yard and consistently being in the 90’s for exit velocity, his top was 96 mph. At 3B he showed instantly a plus arm clocking in at 90 mph, showing plus life and carry across the diamond. The feet worked and the glove was smooth, the backhand wasn’t stiff, working low to the ground and coming through it, building momentum through release. Showing plus tools on both sides of the field, a legit two-way player. Works off the mound as well, took this event off, with a recent outing.
