8/17/16

Athletic right-handed hitting outfielder, surprisingly still uncommitted as this guy can play. The bat has good life to it, tee exit velocity of 85 mph. The setup is slightly wide with his feet, and a relaxed hands start. The path is simple and short to the ball. The bottom half is under control and on time. Would like to see him flatten the plane a bit but hard to argue as he gets hits every time I see him. Very athletic, threw 76 from the outfield with good carry and actions. The foot speed is improving as he ran a 4.4 down the line on his dig.

Played great in the game on Tuesday, hammering the ball all over the yard, showing good foot speed. Ran a 4.39 down the line on a dig and stole bags during the game. At the plate, tee exit velocity of 83 mph out of a simple set up. The feet are even and under control, he throws his hands to the ball and initiates bat speed with the barrel. Definitely stays in his skill set and use his hands very well. Solid defender in the outfield as he can run and he throws enough to play left and you could stick him in right if you needed to. Threw 75 mph from right field and did so with carry and accuracy to the throws. Lower division 1 player for me.

11/16/14
At 5-foot-9,155-pounds his frame has room to grow and is currently long and rangy. Ran an easy 7.25 60-yard dash and displayed a 72 mph arm. There is quickness to his hands at the plate, 79 mph tee exit velocity. Set up is wide and he lunges towards the ball to contact. Swing is a bit long as hands get out and around however, he showed good power potential.
