8/8/18: 6’1, 180 pounds. Wallace dominated all summer out of the pen for Bourne and also had an impressive outing in the All-Star game. FB sat between 93-95 and peaked at 96. SL is plus at 82-84. Tunnels effectively with FB and features tight spin from his low slot. Not overly big or athletic, Wallace gets the most out of his frame with considerable strength in his core and lower half. Creates a high degree of hip to shoulder separation in the sequencing of his mechanics. He also stands out for his high spin rate, an attractive quality to MLB analytics departments. FB ranges from 2500-2600 rpm while the slider is even a little quicker at 2700. (D Jurik)
