6-foot-1, 190-pound quick arm right-hander who pitches for Northeast Baseball. We have seen Jake throw a number of times and he continues to get better as he matures. The fastball touched 88 mph on this particular night with arm side run. The command of the fastball needs to continue to improve. The spin pitch is a slurve, sitting at 78 mph. The pitch has the right shape and should be an out pitch at the next level. The changeup is a work in progress as it’s too hard, touching 85 mph. A grip fix is probably needed to minus the velocity. The delivery is athletic, quick leg lift and he gets into foot strike relatively easy. The direction of his feet are appropriate and the arm is clean, out of a slightly higher than ¾ slot. The only suggestion I have to is to lessen the head movement as his head moves at release. Minimizing that would help commanding the ball better. Good looking arm with more in the tank.

6-foot-2, 190-pound quick armed right-hander. The slot is ¾ and there is effort in his delivery. The ball jumps out of his hand and the fastball has significant arm side boar to it. The fastball touched 86 mph, and it was consistently around the strike zone. The spin pitch is a hard slurvy spin pitch, sat at 74-76 mph. Should be an out pitch at the next level. The changeup has good arm side action to it, may be a tick too hard in velocity. Starts the delivery with an athletic lift and good direction with his feet. The front side has some pull to it, limiting extension. The head does move a little at release, but the stuff itself is plus. Just based on stuff his ceiling is very high, as there is more in the tank.

Right-handed pitcher with a very good arm and the ability to be a high level guy. The ball comes at you out of a ¾ arm slot, simple leg lift and good foot direction. The head does move in the delivery and the front shoulder comes off track as he strides, hurting his control of the ball. The fastball touched 84 mph with good arm-side run. The breaking ball  has a chance to be really good, as it touched 76 mph with good depth and tilt to it. The changeup is a work in progress. Good looking arm to follow. If he can throw strikes, he could take off as the stuff is there to warrant attention.

Long armed right-hander who showed very well in Hudson. The delivery has some effort to it and he could keep his head a bit more still, but the arm is fast and works well. The ball comes out of his hand very well and gets on the hitter. The front side direction is done correctly which allows him to control the ball. The fastball was 84-85 and had life to it. The slider was short and tight, sitting at 73-74. The changeup was 73 and is still a work in progress.  Bright future for this young man.
