Julian Nielsen: 3B/RHP, (2023) Newton North, MA. 6-foot-2, 170-pound lean athletic frame. Projectable above average on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a short loose arm action while showing developing quick arm speed. Up-tempo tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed consistent balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 81-83 mph; showed arm side command and running action. (Max spin 2183; Avg 2051). Shows sweeping action and glove side around the zone command on his 11/5 curveball (63-65). (Max spin 2495; Avg 2216).  The projection is solid as the frame can add weight and strength to the frame. The arm is clean and he has good leverage to the plate. He is a good follow as a player and a pitcher as he matures in age. Scout Evaluation Julian Nielsen, Newton North, 2023, MAPosition: 3B/RHPBody: 6-foot-2, 170-pound lean athletic frame.Pitching: Projectable above average.
