Kevin McCasland: OF/LHP, (2022) King Philip, MA. 5-foot-8, 150-pound athletic frame. Athletic during batting practice, Mccasland clocked an exit velocity of 84 mph. Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Had some bat speed, flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. In the round he found lots of barrels with some loud contact. Line drive approach. Solid his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 77 mph; showed a clean exchange, sure hands, and athletic rhythmic feet. When fielding he gathers the ball to the side. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a loose arm action with a ¾ slot. Solid on the mound, had a loose arm action and a ¾ arm angle with some arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. He has in line shoulders with an consistent balance point. Lands square with a clean finish. Threw his fastball 77-79 mph; shows sinking action and command low in the zone with heavy movement. Throws a tight curveball (65-67) with sweeping action and consistent command. Had sporadic control and some action on his changeup (68-69).

Power: 84 mph exit velocity, average 76.38 mph. 69.73 mph bat speed average. 21.72 mph hand speed average.
Defense: (OF) Sure hands, athletic rhythmic footwork, clean exchange. Solid. Shows to the side glove work.
Arm: 77 mph outfield velocity. Loose arm action, ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.
Pitching: Solid. Up-tempo delivery, some effort. ¾ arm angle, some arm speed, loose arm action. Consistent balance point, in line shoulders, lands square, a clean finish.
FB: T79. 77-79 mph. (Max spin 2030; Avg 1956). Low in the zone accuracy, sinking action, heavy movement.
CB: 65-67 mph. Consistent command, sweeping action, tight movement.
CH: 68-69 mph. Sporadic command, some action.
5-foot-8, 150-pound left-handed pitcher and left-handed hitting outfielder. He ran a 7.0 sixty at the event. The approach is online and athletic through the fielding of the baseball. He threw 76 mph from right field to the plate during the event. The bat has an exit velocity of 78 mph as physical strength gains are warranted. The setup is even in base and he showed a front knee turn as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is long to contact and aggressive through contact. On the mound, the fastball was 75-76 mph. The spin pitch was 66-68 mph and big in shape. The changeup is a developing pitch. The delivery has crossfire to the feet and the slot is 3/4 in height. The lift is repeated and the direction to the plate is solid. The arm is clean and the ball comes out well. There is deception to the delivery. He is a good follow.
