Cape Cod- Extra large frame, the high three-quarter righthander tended to overthrow and yank his fastball to his glove side. He looked to be an arm strength reliever at 92-95 mph with spin rates 2300-2478 rpm. He also showed a fair changeup at 79-81 with low spin rates (1300-1500 rpm). The pitch had occasional cut action to it. His third pitch was a below-average 76-79 curveball with three-quarter break. It lacked bite, while spinning around 2400 rpm. His strike-throwing (9 walks in 19 IP) remains a work in progress, yet it did not hinder his ability to limit the damage, producing a 1.50 ERA this summer.
