Owen McCarron: OF/RHP, (2023) Holliston, MA. 6-foot-3, 210-pound solid build. Athletic during batting practice, Mccarron's best exit velocity was 92 mph. (76.7 mph bat speed average). (24.8 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a toe tap stride. Bat speed is quick, exhibits a simple uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. During his round he produced loud contact and found lots of barrels. Up the middle approach. Solid recorded an outfield position velocity of 81 mph; showed a clean exchange, consistent smooth feet, and sure hands. Had a long arm action with a high ¾ slot. Solid on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with an long arm action. Shows easy effort in his delivery. Displays falling off shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands open with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 78-79 mph. Shows some tilt action. (Max spin 1946; Avg 1858). His curveball (65-68) showed sweeping action. (Max spin 1604; Avg 1561). Owen McCarron: OF/1B, (2023) Holliston, MA. 6-foot-3, 200-pound projectable build. Projectable during batting practice, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 93 mph. (70.4 mph bat speed average). (24.7 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a small stride. Bat speed is above average, shows an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. In the round he found lots of barrels with loud contact. Aggressive approach. Projectable in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 68 mph; had developing soft hands, a developing natural exchange, and  developing footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Had a high ¾ slot and consistent accuracy to the bag. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.34.  (Max spin ; Avg ).

Defense:  (OF) Developing soft hands, consistent  footwork, developing natural exchange. Projectable.  Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. 

Arm: 68 mph outfield velocity. High ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.

Owen McCarron: OF/RHP, (2023) out of Holliston, MA. is a 6-foot-2, 195-pound two-way prospect. At the plate, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 95 MPH. He starts in a balanced, athletic stance with relaxed hands. He uses a controlled load to stack the weight over the back leg. The bat works though the zone on a quick, uphill swing plane generating good carry to the middle of the field. . Defensively, McCarron was 80 MPH on his throws from the outfield. As he worked through the defensive portion, he showed sure hands, a clean exchange, and smooth feet. He also recorded a time of 7.6 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, McCarron shows a quick arm and a simple delivery. He gets balanced at the top and separated into a clean ¾ arm slot. His fastball sits 78-79 MPH with late running action. He also showed a tight 12/6 curveball (69-71 MPH) and a changeup (74-75 MPH) with fading action. 

6-foot-1 160-pound right-handed pitcher and outfielder. Ran a 5.03 home to first at the workout. The approach in the outfield is online and under control. Threw 66 mph from right-field to the plate. Needs to work on being more aggressive through the ball to aid the throwing process. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 74 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot open to start. The path is long to contact. On the mound, the fastball sat 72-73 mph , minimal arm side run. The spin pitch is 58 mph, very big in shape. The changeup sat at 60 mph and is still developing. The delivery is online with the feet and above 3/4 in slot. The glove comes across the hitters face and the front shoulder comes offline prior to foot strike. The arm is clean, needs to add pounds and strength to aid development.
