Taber is a 5-foot-9, 150 pound right-handed hitting outfield/infield prospect. He hits out of a narrow stance, with the hands set high above the back shoulder. The swing begins with a leg kick and the hands dropping into a flat, direct path through the hitting zone. Taber shows quick hands, creating a lot of loud contact and an exit velocity of 88 MPH during his batting practice. The swing remains balanced throughout and he gets through contact well.
In the outfield, Taber showed a strong arm, with a velocity 88 MPH on his throws. The work well as he moves to get into a good fielding position.
