The 5-foot-10, 195 pound right-handed hitting infielder had a tee exit velocity of 85 mph. The stance is tall with the hand relaxed. The load is simple and he gets into a strong position to hit. The swing plane is direct and he gets through the ball after contact. He showed the ability to drive balls gap to gap with authority during the BP. He also ran a 4.9 second home to first at the event. Defensively, he threw 68 mph across the diamond. The feet move well pre pitch and he gets into an athletic ready position. As he moves to field, the feet are light getting him into a good fielding position. The glove is relaxed and he is soft bringing the ball into the midsection. He moves well laterally and gets the body into a good position to throw.I like his potential on both sides of the ball. He moves well defensively and the bat has life.
