2/23/19

6-foot, 185-pound right-handed pitcher and corner infielder. On the mound, the fastball touched 81 mph, arm side run to the pitch. The spin pitch is 67-68 mph, as it needs added fastball hand speed to it. The changeup is a developing pitch, sitting 72-74 with action. The delivery is online with the feet and above 3/4 in slot. The arm gets out and up as he makes his way into foot strike. There is effort in the delivery and he showed recoil after release. Threw strikes in the session. Positionally, threw 73 mph across the diamond as the actions are clean and athletic. The glove is solid and the feet stay active during the process. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 84 mph. The setup is wide in base, uses a knee to knee approach on the bottom half. The path is long, small amount of bat wrap prior to initiation of the swing. Turned in a good workout and he is a guy to follow.

2/24/18

6-foot, 170-pound right-handed pitcher and corner infielder/outfielder. Threw 74 mph across the diamond at the workout, the glove is soft and the feet need to continue to advance through the ball. Threw 83 mph from the outfield, the approach is athletic and he showed good hand speed. The bat has a 83 mph tee exit velocity. The stance is even, small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The path is flat and physical strength should make a good looking player down the road. On the mound, the fastball touched 77 mph. The spin pitch was 67 mph, solid in shape. The changeup is 68-70 mph, with good action to it. The delivery is online with his feet and the tracking of the front shoulder needs to be improve. The arm slot is above ¾ and the arm works freely. The shoulders tilt as he lifts athletically moving into foot strike. The bullpen session was solid at his age. Solid player.
