FUTURE GAMES
6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Solid showing at the event as he can play multiple positions. Ran a 7.02 sixty on the laser at the event. The glove is solid, moves his feet to and through the ball. Threw 79 mph across the diamond with accuracy. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 87 mph. The setup is wide, bottom half under control as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is a tick long to contact, needs to be flattened through the strike zone. The hands work free and clean throughout the swing.

7/17/19

6-foot-1, 185-pound, longer, lean athletic frame, with plenty of room to fill out. A right-handed hitting infielder who can play both spots on the left side. At the plate, wider, slightly open stance, balanced, solid base to start with. The hands are set higher than shoulder height, bat having tilt, loaded up ready to hit. The lower half has a controlled smooth leg kick, doesn't gain much ground, stays behind the baseball on contact.  The swing is down to level to up, hands are inside the baseball, barrel is in the zone a long time, finishes with two hands above the shoulders.  The approach is from gap to gap, having enough pop to beat the pull outfielder. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 84 mph, and ran a 4.50 on a dig to 1st base. In game swings were very good, collecting a couple of hits along with hard contact. Defensively, threw 77 mph across the diamond, arm action is super clean and works out of a natural 3/4 slot. The glove is soft and he works extremely low to the ground. The transfer is quick, glove to hand is smooth, with no wasted movement. The feet and hands work very well together. One of the better players in the class of 2021.

Arm Velocity: 77 mph

2/09/19

6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Good looking young infielder, threw 77 mph across the diamond with accuracy. The arm works free and clean, the feet remain active and he works through the ball. The ability to handle the middle of the field is obvious. The foot speed is slightly above average and the frame projects to fill out. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 79 mph, physical strength gains are warranted as he progresses. The setup is wide in base, the hands work clean to the ball. The path is flat to contact and he works through the ball. Should be an interesting prospect as he matures.

3/11/18

6-foot-1, 175-pound right-handed hitting infielder and pitcher.  Threw 79 mph during the infield portion of the workout. The arm is fast and clean. The glove and approach is appropriate. Ran a 7.01 sixty at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 79 mph. The stance is open with the front foot, closes down as the ball approaches. The path is simple, consistent hard contact. Separation to initiate the swing needs to be added into the swing. On the mound, the fastball touched 73 mph. The spin pitch is 53 mph, needs more fastball hand speed added to the pitch. The changeup is 62 mph, needs a spin fix. The delivery is online with the feet, the slot is above ¾. The lift is methodical and repeated. The tracking of the front shoulder needs to be aligned. Solid showing.
