10/04/20

6-foot-1 195 pound left-handed hitting corner infielder. He had another good workout with us. He ran a 7.28 sixty at the event. The approach at the hot corner is appropriate as he moves his feet athletically through the baseball. He does double tap the ball once he takes it out of the glove, that will have to be eliminated in his process. He threw 80 mph across the diamond from third to first base. The bat has plus life to it, exit velocity of 96 mph. The setup is even in base and the front foot is open to start. The front foot closes down and he initiates an uphill path to the baseball. The potential for power is immense. He is a legit prospect.

Exit Velocity - 96 mph

INF Velocity- 80 mph

9/26/20

6-foot-1, 195-pound left-handed hitting corner infielders. He is one of the better 2023 prospects that I have seen this summer. He ran a 7.47 sixty at the event. The approach at third base is solid as he works his feet through the baseball and he threw 80 mph across the diamond. He does double tap after taking the ball out of his glove, that will have to be eliminated when the speed to the game picks up. The bat has an exit velocity of 95 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot slightly open to start. The front foot closes down and he gains minimal ground to the ball as the swing is produced. The path has plus life to it, slightly uphill and he shows a ton of power potential with the bat.

Exit Velocity- 95 mph

INF Velocity- 80 mph

7/01/20

6-foot, 170-pound, longer lean athletic frame, with room for added weight gains. A left-handed hitting two-way player, at the plate starts open, gets back to even doesn't gain much ground. The hands are loose at shoulder height, with pre-pitch movement to them. The swing is fluid is uphill at the backend, could flatten a tick, staying through it longer. The approach is more middle, driving the baseball from gap to gap. The exit velocity was clocked at 89 mph. In the infield, shows clean actions, feet move throughout, threw 80 mph across the diamond. Off the mound, high hand set, easy lift, small collapse on the backside could stay stronger on the back half. The arm works from a higher slot, comes through with easy effort. The fastball was clocked at 81 mph, located to both sides of the plate. The breaking ball was clocked at 67-71 mph, tighter, later spin to it. The changeup is still a work in progress. Time will tell which way he goes, strength is a must over the next year.

Exit Velocity: 89 mph

Arm Velocity: 80 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.59

The hands are fluid and free to contact. The bat works well. On the mound, the fastball sat at 71-72 mph. The spin pitch is 60-63 mph and the changeup is 64-65 mph.
