5-foot-9, 145-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Ran a 7.9 sixty at the event. The skill set behind the dish is developing, he threw 69 mph down to second with a pop time of 2.03. The receiving aspect needs to improve, securing the catch and softening of the glove. Working on smoothing out the feet will aid the process as well. The bat had an exit velocity of 82 mph, as physical strength gains are warranted. The setup is even in base and the front foot gains ground as the swing is initiated. The backside has a small collapse to it during the swing causing the path to be uphill at times.

Nardelli is a 5-foot-9, 135 pound catching prospect. The young right-handed hitting catcher had an exit velocity of 71 mph off the tee. The initial set up is wide and slightly open to the pitcher.  The bat rests flat on the back shoulder. The load is a transfer of the weight to the back leg and a lifting of the bat off the back shoulder. The swing is flat to and through the hitting zone and he stays on plane through contact.

Behind the plate, the initial stance is square, balanced, with the glove relaxed in the center of the chest. As he transitions to throw to second base, the feet replace and get square to the target.  The hips and shoulders follow, allowing the arm-swing to be consistently in line with the target. At this event Nardelli was 73 mph down to second base with his throws.

Nardelli has an interesting skill-set and with added strength and development will be a solid prospect.
