Thomas is a 5’6”, 140lb. outfielder, second baseman with an athletic frame. Projects a short stride with a long swing. Tends to lunge at the ball, but is able to spread the ball to all fields while making moderate contact. In the field, corrals the ball well with fluent mobility. 5-foot-6, 140-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. In the outfield, the feet are active and get the body into a good position to field. The transition from the glove to the throwing position was good. The arm was 68 mph from the outfield. The slot is a little low for the outfield but the path is clean. The bat had a tee exit velocity of 71 mph. The stance begins square and balanced. The load is simple, it begins with a short knee to knee to get the weight stacked in the launch position. The hands move slightly before heading into a flat bat path. This simple stroke produced a lot of line drives. I think as he physically develops there will be some authority gap to gap. This is a young guy who is fundamentally sound. As he continues to get stronger and develop as a player should be a guy. The tools are there to be good.
Tee Exit Velocity- 71 mph OF Velocity- 68 mph
5-foot-6, 140-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. Solid showing at the event as his game is improving. The hands work clean at the dish, setup is wide in base. The front foot has a small pick up and put down as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is long to contact, accelerates his hands through contact and sprays the ball all over the yard.
