6/11/19

5-foot-11, 145-pound right-handed hitting infielder and pitcher. Ran a 4.47 down the line on his dig to first base. The glove is soft in the field and he showed the ability to move his feet through the ball. Threw 72 mph across the diamond at the workout. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 80 mph, as physical strength gains are needed. The setup is even in base. The path is long to contact, due to needed strength, uses a 1-handed finish after contact. Spread the field with his approach during the workout. On the mound, the fastball touched 77 mph, minimal arm side action to the pitch. the breaking ball is 65-66 mph, correct in shape. The changeup is 71-73 mph, and developing. The delivery is online with the feet and above 3/4 in slot. The glove side has pull to it, taking him offline prior to foot strike. The tracking of the front shoulder needs to stay online a bit longer. The arm is clean and works.

5-foot-11, 130-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Ran a 4.56 down the line on his dig to first base at the workout. The glove is solid in the infield and he kept his feet moving throughout the fielding process. Threw 71 mph across the diamond with accuracy. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 75 mph, physical strength gains are needed to aid the development of his game. The setup is even in base, uses a small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The swing is flat and level through the zone. The hands are free and loose, the frame just needs to get stronger.

INF Velocity- 71 mph

3/11/18

5-foot-11, 130-pound, thin, athletic frame, the neck is long, shoulders are sloped, has room for future development. A right-handed hitting two way player. At the plate, sets up with even feet at shoulder width, hands are loose just above the shoulders, bat starts in a good loaded tilted position. The swing is level across his chest, the hands stay inside the baseball, spraying it to both fields. Uses his entire body to hit the baseball, lower half is under control, stride is simple and straight. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 73 mph, has a ton more in there, with added strength. Defensively, has above average hands are soft and smooth, fields out front, low to the ground, feet move throughout. The arm action is super clean on the backside, baseball comes out of a natural ¾ slot. The arm was clocked at 66 mph, with more in the tank. Off the mound, smooth deliberate delivery, stays tall on the backside, works downhill. The extension and follow through are inline and out front. The arm action is clean on the back side, works out of a natural ¾ slot. The fastball reached 75 mph, located down at the knees to both sides of the plate. The breaking ball was more top to bottom, clocked at 62-64 mph, showed proper spin and depth to it. The change up, was 67-69 mph, located to the arm side. Showed the ability to throw all three pitches for strikes. Projects for me down the road off the mound, ceiling is high, look for the velocity to jump at some point.

Tee Exit Velocity: 73 MPH
Arm Velocity: 66 MPH
