Tyler Normandie: 3B/RHP, (2023) Central Catholic, MA. 5-foot-10, 170-pound athletic frame. Athletic during batting practice, Normandie's best exit velocity was 85 mph. Starts in a wide open stance with a smooth load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is some, uses a simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. He created some loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Athletic while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 77 mph; has rhythmic feet, soft hands, and a fluid exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Using a quick arm action, showed consistent accuracy to the bag from a ¾ slot. Solid on the mound, showed quick arm speed with a short arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher who uses some effort. Displays in line shoulders and an athletic balance point. Lands square with a clean finish. Sat with his fastball at 80-81 mph; has running action and consistent control. His 11/5 curveball (71-72) had hard action and in the zone command. His changeup (71-74) showed fading action and low in the zone command.

Hit: (RHH) Begins in a wide open stance with a smooth load, then uses a small leg kick. Some bat speed. Good extension on his finish, simple swing. Gap to gap approach. 

Power: 85 mph exit velocity, average 75.84 mph. 67.93 mph bat speed average. 20.87 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (IF) Soft hands, rhythmic footwork, fluid exchange. Athletic.  Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. 

Arm: 77 mph infield velocity. Quick arm action, ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Pitching: Solid. Slow-tempo delivery, some effort. ¾ arm angle, quick arm speed, short arm action. Athletic balance point, in line shoulders, lands square, a clean finish.

FB: T81. 80-81 mph. (Max spin 2024;  Avg 1940). Consistent accuracy, running action. 

CB: 71-72 mph. In the zone command, hard action, 11/5 shape. 

CH: 71-74 mph. Low in the zone command, fading action. 

5-foot-10, 170-pound, average athletic frame, showing good strength for his size. A right-handed hitting third baseman, at the plate, starts wider, and is slighly open. The hands are quiet, are loaded back, bat having tilt to it. The swing is short to contact, a down to level path, slight opening of the chest, creating more of a pull approach. The exit velocity was clocked at 87 mph and ran a 7.69 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, is under control in his approach to the baseball. Fielding out front and low to the ground, feet and hands working together. The arm was clocked at 77 mph across the diamond, online throws with carry to them. The arm took a jump, look for him to be able to stick on the left side of the field. The movements to glove side are smooth, double play starts are performed correct. Good looking prospect has made a jump from winter events.

5-foot-10, 170-pound right-handed hitting infielder. The approach in the infield is aggressive and online. The arm and feet work athletically in all he does. He threw 75 mph across the diamond with accuracy. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 80 mph. The setup is even in base, uses a leg lift to generate bottom half power as the ball approaches. The swing is simple to contact, shows good life in his hands. Solid prospect, and will benefit from additional physical strength to aid the development of his game.

INF Velocity- 75 mph

5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder and pitcher. Ran a 4.82 home to first at the event. The glove is solid in the field, moves the feet well and shows arm strength. Threw 75 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 81 mph. The setup is wide in base, small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The path is simple and flat to contact. The hands work extremely well. On the mound, the fastball sat 74-75 mph. The spin pitch is 65 mph, and big in shape. The changeup is a developing pitch, sitting at 66-68, and needs a spin fix. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is above 3/4. The lift is repeated, pitches out of the stretch. The arm works and the glove comes across the hitters face. Solid prospect.

5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder and pitcher, Ran a 7.7 sixty at the event. The movements are athletic. The approach in the infield is solid and he threw 70 mph during the defensive portion with ease. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 78 mph. The setup is wide in base and under control on the bottom half. The path is simple with a small amount of lift in the path. The hands are outstanding and he is an advanced in development.  On the mound, the fastball sat at 76 mph, arm side action to it. The spin sat at 65-66 mph, good in shape. The changeup is 64-66 with fade. The delivery is online and the slot is above ¾. The arm works free and clean. The tracking of the front shoulder can continue to improve.
