6-foot-1, 180-pound right-hander from the GBG program. Fastball touched 86 mph, with plenty more in the tank for this guy as a posture fix would put him into the 90’s with ease. The slider is a plus pitch, sat at 81 mph. The breaking ball has good shape to it, sitting at 72 mph. Showed a changeup, needs consistent spin on the pitch, sits at 80 mph, which is too hard. The delivery is athletic, and with effort in it. The tracking of the front shoulder needs to be cleaned up so he doesn’t run away from his arm. The frame is good and the movements are athletic. Would like to see him make some small adjustments in his posture and tracking to reach his potential. Big follow, very good student.

6-foot-1, 175-pound athletic right-hander with projectable stuff. The fastball touched 86 with life and arm side run. The breaking ball was in play as it sits at 71 with good depth . The slider is a plus pitch, and more than likely a go to out pitch at the next level, up to 81 mph. The changeup needs a spin fix, sits at 77 mph. Pitches out of a ¾ slot with a posted front side. Does lose posture as he goes to the plate and comes off target. Better direction with his front shoulder will lead to extension and more velo. The arm is ultra quick and the frame is a good one. Look for this guy, with some minor tweaks, punch some velocity numbers on the radar gun.

One of my favorite pitchers of the day, I don’t mind him as a positional player but his future is on the bump. A quick armed right-hander who shows good secondary stuff, and projects to throw much harder. As a pitcher, showed a repeatable delivery with high leg lift and a ¾ arm slot. There is a good front side pull causing his alignment to come off a bit but he gets into foot strike in good time. The fastball touched 83 mph, certainly a ton more in there. The breaking ball is big at 66 mph but has the right shape. Threw a cutter/short slider at 77 mph, which I think is the pitch separating him. Changeup was 73 mph, and needs a spin correction. Like the frame, quick arm and ability to spin it. As a positional player, threw 84 mph from the outfield with good carry. Ran a 4.48 on his dig to first. At the plate, tee exit velocity of 76 mph. The setup is even based with a slight crouch, with a bat wrap as the swing begins. The swing path is long and the frame needs strength. Good athlete, that I really like on the mound.
