Athletic right-handed hitter who pitched, played outfield and infield at the event. The frame is a good one, 6-foot-3, 180-pounds. On the mound, the delivery is athletic with a slight coil at the top of the lift. The direction to home needs to improve as he comes off the target prior to getting to foot strike. The stuff is good, the fastball has arm side run to it, sitting at 81 mph. The spin pitch is a slider, sitting at 74 mph, with plus action to it. The changeup is his best pitch, backs up and fades to the hitter. The pitch sat at 65 mph. Positionally, in the outfield, threw 81 mph with plenty of carry and accuracy to it. The approach to the ball was appropriate and the routes to the ball were solid. At third base, he showed a solid glove, footwork needs to improve as he threw 71 mph across the diamond. The bat has life to it, tee exit velocity of 87 mph. Hits out of even base, and a slight forward lean as the ball approaches. The bat is fast and he cuts himself off after contact. Flattening the path and allowing the bat to finish will help. Ran a 7.01 60 at the event. Good looking player and pitcher.
