Maryland Preseason All-State Session I

Body: 5’7’’, 150 pounds. Athletic, wiry frame. 
Hit: Switch. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance at the plate. Smooth back load and shifts weight well to the back side with some hand separation. Gets the foot down early with some hand rhythm and a direct path to contact. Quick hands through contact and stays inside the ball well with lined rive tendencies to the middle of the field. 
Power: 87 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Present pop from the left side with doubles power from both. 
Arm: RH. C - 73 mph. Throws with shorter arm action from a high three-quarter slot. 
Defense: Pop times ranged 2.08-2.19. Replaces feet well and creates solid momentum towards the target. Quick, clean exchanges with accurate throws to the bag. 
Run: 7.54 60-yard time.

Maryland Western Trials

Body: 5’7’’, 130 pounds. Athletic frame. 
Hit: Switch. Hits from a balanced, open stance from the right side. Short back load with a controlled, small stride and some hand separation. Short to the ball with quick hands and showed some bat speed through the zone. Slightly uphill swing path with extension through contact and a two-handed finish. Uses the whole field well showing a really nice middle of the field, gap-to-gap line drive approach during BP. Similar set-up and swing from the left side with a more of an uphill swing path. Tendency to work more middle to the pull side from the left side. 
Power: 84 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. 
Arm: RH. C - 73 mph. Throws with short arm action from a high three-quarter slot. 
Defense: Pop times ranged 2.08-2.19. Replaces feet quick and square shoulders to second base on pops. Quick, clean transfers with a slight hesitation in throw. Throws were accurate and on a line to the bag at second. Quiet body receiving and sticks it well.
Run: 7.30 60-yard time.

1/11/20

5-foot-7, 130-pound compact athletic frame. Hit from the left side with a slightly open upright stance. Quiet toe tap stride, lands on line, and hands stay tight on load. Steep movement to the ball, flat path through, and gains extension on contact. Feet replace and get in line to throw. Clean high exchange, short arm path, and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot at 72 mph. Pop times ranged from 2.13-2.37. 60 time was 7.32.

MD Freshman Free Showcase 1.26.19

Athletic body type and 5’7’’, 130 pound frame. Switch hitter. Starts from both sides in a balanced, slightly closed stance with feet closer together. Minimal load and average stride length. Short and quick to the ball. Stays behind the ball well with some lower half involvement. More level swing path from the right side and more slightly uphill path from the left side. Showed good balance and extension through contact. Line drive type hitter. Recorded an exit velocity of 71 mph from the right side and 70 mph from the left side. Quiet body behind the plate and receives the ball well. Gains ground on throws to second base. Showed quick, clean exchanges throwing with shorter arm action from a mid three-quarters arm slot at 70 mph.
