Strong, solid, athletic body type and projectable 5’11’’, 195 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, athletic, square stance at the plate with hand rhythm. Rock back load with a medium sized leg kick. Creates some hand separation and showed a slightly longer swing path with some uphill tilt. Quick hands and bat speed through the zone. Stays behind the ball well with some lower half involvement. Good extension through contact and finishes swing with one hand. Strength and power present. Recorded a 96 mph exit velocity and peppered the gaps during BP. Plays through the ball in the outfield with a controlled approach and quick, fundamental footwork. Throws with short arm action from a mid three-quarter slot at 78 mph. Throws were accurate to the plate. Ran a 6.76 60-yard time.
MD Preseason All State
Athletic physical frame at 5-foot-11, 195-pounds. Displayed solid athleticism with a 4.08 Home-1st time. Starts in an athletic square stance and hands make a short direct load back and posture is slightly crouched. Small leg kick and lands on line, very quick hands, and strength at contact. Bat path was uphill and ball exploded off the bat at 88 mph. Light on his feet and worked behind ball to catch. Clean exchange with an average arm action and throws from a low three-quarter arm slot at 80 mph.
