Maryland Top Prospect Games West

Body: 6’0”, 150 pounds. Long, athletic frame with projectability throughout, long levers in all phases. 
Hit: RHH. Starts from a bent, slightly open stance with the hands wiggling above the shoulder at ear height. Utilized a leg-lift stride to a wide land in order to initiate the bat head through a flat path. Fluid barrel at launch, having no issues bursting into extension with authority. Can get slightly uphill through the baseball creating an upward launch, and backspin to the pull side gap. 
Power: 85 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Doubles power with legitimate potential to add power as he becomes stronger, swing works at a high level. 
Arm: RH. INF - 76 mph. Short, high ¾ slot with ability to manipulate arm angles based on the play, accurate release on the run and can handle all the plays in either direction.
Defense: Gets to the right of the ball immediately with a quick first step, taps the feet and attacks out in front with soft, loose hands. Funnels into the body allowing for a lengthy exchange into the throwing hand and on its way out towards the bag. 
Run: 7.70 60-yard time.

Maryland Top Prospect Games II

Body: 5’11’’, 140 pounds. Athletic, lean frame.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a tall, slightly open stance at the plate. Short, controlled backload with separation and a toe-tap initiating stride. Stays on the ball really well with balance and keeps the head down on contact. Slightly uphill swing path with quick bat speed through the zone. Gets extension into a long finish. Gap-to-gap line drive approach. 
Power: 84 mph exit velocity per TrackMan during BP. Showed some pop to the gaps with much more projected as he continues to fill out. 
Arm: RH. INF - 73 mph. Throws with shorter arm action from a mid three-quarter slot on most throws with the ability to change arm angles depending on the type of play. 
Defense: Split-step to ready, plays quick with active feet and fields the ball out in front with an athletic base. Showed nice lateral range and works through the ball to the target. Exchange gets long at times. 
Run: 7.69 60-yard time.

Delivery: Controlled side-step wind-up with a quick leg kick swing into a tall balance position with a quarter body turn. Shorter, quick stride down the mound with a slight glove tap prior to separation. Lands closed to the plate in an upright position with hard cross-body firing action. Long back leg swing falling off to the first base side some in finish. 
Arm Action: RH. Quick arm speed present throwing with short arm action from a low three-quarter slot with some intent.
FB: T70 mph, 67-69 mph. Slight arm-side run with an average spin rate of 1854 rpm per TrackMan.

Maryland Summer Trials

Body: 5’11’’, 140 pounds. Athletic, lanky, projectable frame. 
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, upright, slightly open stance. Smooth back load with rhythm, utilizing a slight toe-tap load. Creates some hand separation with an uphill swing path. Stays behind the ball well with quick hands and fast bat speed through the zone. Creates some lower half involvement with great extension through the zone and past contact. Strong one handed finish, working mostly middle to pull side.  
Power: 81 mph exit velocity from the tee. Present pull side pop with more projected. 
Arm: RH. INF - 73 mph. Throws with short arm action from a low three-quarter slot. 
Defense: Plays loose with quick, active feet. Gets around the ball well and plays through it with momentum towards the bag. Fields the ball out in front, funneling it to the belt with a glove tap during exchange. Rangy side to side with soft hands and clean exchanges. 
Run: 4.59 home-to-first time.

Delivery: Side-step wind-up and controlled high leg kick to a tall balance position with a quarter body turn. Gradual stride down the mound with the body getting out ahead of the arm. Lands closed to the plate throwing cross-body and finishes in an upright position. 
Arm Action: RH. Throws with short, whippy arm action from a mid three-quarter slot with easy effort. 
FB: T72 mph, 67-71 mph. Occasional arm-side run with an average spin rate of 1950 rpm.
CB: 56-59 mph. Had big, gradual 11/5 shape with an average spin rate of 2099 rpm. 
CH: 65-66 mph. Average spin rate of 1434 rpm. 
SL: 64-65 mph. Showed tighter 11/5 shape with an average spin rate of 1432 rpm.
