MD Winter Update
Strong, athletic body type and 6’0’’, 180 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, athletic, slightly open stance at the plate. Controlled, high leg kick load with some hand separation. Short to the ball with quick hands and a level swing path. Creates fast bat speed through the zone and incorporates some lower half involvement into it. Finishes swing with one hand and worked gap-to-gap with some power present. Recorded a 79 mph exit velocity.

Cann is 6-0 with a strong athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, leg kick stride on line, short load back to a wrap. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Keeps hands inside, short to the ball, some strength at contact. Level line drive swing gap to gap, gets uphill to pull side, showed a pull approach, exit velocity was 81. In the infield, rounds ball and fields with a wider base and above average hands. Works through ball to a quick clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a short arm action, infield velocity was 75. Ran a 7.47 60 yard dash.
MD Preseason All State
Projectable athletic frame at 6-foot, 175-pounds. Hits from the right side with a slightly open stance using a small leg kick to stride. Lands on-line at stride, hands make small load back with a slight bat wrap, and has a flat path to the ball. Hands are quick and gets lower half involved well posting an exit velocity of 77 mph. Feet were active on approach in the infield, catches the ball a little deep, but showed a clean exchange. Short arm action throwing from a low three-quarter slot at 71 mph. Ran a 4.51 home-to-first time.
API Scout Day
Athletic frame at 6-foot, 160-pounds. Hits from a slightly open athletic set up. Square up in load with bigger, involved leg kick and short movement back. Short, level swing path with average bat speed and pull type approach as gets around the ball at times. Shows some strength at the plate with 79 mph exit velo that should get better. Active feet with average hands and exchange. Has a short arm action throwing from a lower slot with throws across the diamond at 69 mph.
