Compact athletic frame at 5-foot-8, 140-pounds. Upright slightly open stance with a small pickup and stride forward landing slightly closed. Hands load back with some rhythm and are quick to the zone with a slight uphill swing path. High finish and gets lower half through completely with an exit velocity of 72 mph. Feet were active and work outside the ball on approach in the infield. Fields the ball with soft hands and a clean exchange. Displayed a short, quick arm action throwing from a low three-quarters slot at 74 mph. Home-to-first time was 4.48.
MD Top Prospect Games II
Athletic body type and 5-foot-8, 130 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, athletic, slightly open stance at the plate with a wide base. Quiet body at the plate with minimal extra movement. Quick back load and short stride. Creates nice separation and stays behind the ball well with some lower half involvement. Showed quick hands, fast bat speed and good extension through contact. Short, slightly uphill swing path with an exit velo of 72 mph. Line drive type hitter. Athletic and moves very well in the infield with smooth fielding actions. Plays through the ball with soft hands, fluid footwork, and quick, clean exchanges. Throws with shorter arm action from a low three-quarters slot at 71 mph. Also showed the ability to make throws from other arm angles depending on the play.
