Big, solid body type and 6’1’’, 220 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, square stance at the plate with bat resting on back shoulder. Small leg kick load getting hands into a good hitting position. Short, compact swing and level path. Showed quick hands and quick bat speed. Strong lower half involvement. Stays behind the ball with good balance in the box. Gets slightly uphill through finish. Power type hitter with present pull-side pop. Recorded an exit velocity of 78 mph. Works through the ball at first base and showed good hands fielding the ball out in front of his body. Throws with longer arm action from a mid three-quarters slot at 70 mph. Showed the ability to change arm angles depending on type of play. Pitched from the stretch with front hip and front foot clear during set and hand high. Small, quick leg quick and up-tempo delivery. Clean hand separation and down to out lower half drive. Lands square to the plate with a strong finish. Tends to finish slightly upright at times. Long, loose arm action throwing from a high three-quarters slot with regular effort. Fastball sat 73-76 mph and change-up was 68-70 mph. Breaking ball showed sharp 11/5 shape at 63-64 mph.
