Maryland Top Prospect Games II

Body: 6’0’’, 170 pounds. Strong, athletic frame with lots of feel present offensively.
Hit: RHH. Crouched, narrow stance with the hands waving on the shoulder to create early rhythm; utilized a short and precise leg lift stride to initiate the swing through a bursty, flat path after a barrel tip at the top of the load. Was consistently on the sweet spot generating lots of hard contact to the pull side. Worked himself into strong, powerful positions in order to hit behind the baseball with efficient energy transfer. Mostly LCF, gap to gap approach during batting practice.
Power: 92 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Showed strength to pull with tight, quick turns. Projects to accrue extra base hits all over the field and can run it out of the yard to LF on occasion.
Arm: RH. OF - 79 mph. Quick takeaway and moderate arm circle on the way through.
Defense: Choppy, accurate footwork trusting the glove hand to operate smoothly out in front of the body. Solid pace and the chest worked downhill; accurate throws on the target with LF/CF projection.
