Nice rhythm throughout. Exit velo of 90. Sound actions from first base. Athletic, quick feet, shorter arm action throwing from a high three quarter. Infield velo of 82 mph. Good feet on the turn. Sound actions in the outfield with some life on throws up to 85 mph.

Brown is 6-2 and has a strong, athletic frame. He hits from the right side from a balanced stance. Short leg kick stride on line, smooth load back, some hip explosion, good balance to swing. Works uphill through ball with extension, pull approach with some power potential, exit velocity was 90. At first base, clean footwork, average hands. Clean exchange, throws from three-quarters arm slot with a short arm action, infield velocity was 85. In outfield gets behind the ball, clean footwork, above average hands, clean transfer. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a short arm action, outfield velocity was 83, throws had some accuracy.

Has a strong solid frame. Continues to progress at the plate. He starts in a balanced, athletic position and coils into his back side with a toe-tap and bat-tip combo. He fires his back hip and is able to get the bat on plane early. This gives him some bat speed and ability to drive balls to gaps. His barrel works uphill and long through the zone. Exit velocity of 88 mph. In the outfield, he displayed average footwork with a solid transfer. He has a short arm action that was able to generate some carry on his throws at 84 mph.

Been continually impressed with the progression of Youse's Orioles 2018 OF Nick Brown. His arm strength has gotten better with a cleaner arm action and provides a simple approach with fast bat speed at the plate that spreads the ball around the diamond

Smooth quick load with some rhythm throughout. Short path to the ball with fast bat speed. Barrelled ball well and showed some extension through contact. Works thru ball well in the outfield. Could keep momentum working in throws. Throws from an over the top angle. Throws have some carry on them and were accurate at 80 mph.

6.21.16 - Simple load to hitting position. Short swing path and gets uphill at times. Nice rhythm at plate with smooth load. Gets some lower half. Shows some power potential at plate and got exit velocity up to 90 mph. Active feet in the outfield. Clean hands and exchange. Could quicken release. Sound arm action throwing from a high ¾ slot. Interesting 2018 to keep an eye on.
