Strong, power hitting catcher. Hits in the middle of the order and is having a great season for the Patriots offensively. Starts from a balanced, athletic stance and has a smooth back load. Swings with intent and showed fast bat speed and strong lower half involvement. Stays behind the ball well and drives gaps. Short, compact, slightly uphill swing with nice extension. Big time uncommitted bat to jump on now.

Throws were accurate around bag.

He uses core and can add more power with increased lower half involvement. Exit velocity of 81mph. Behind the plate, he replaces his feet well and transfers the ball efficiently. He has a short arm action and repeatedly puts the ball on the bag. Best pop time was 2.06 seconds. On the mound, he has simple and quick delivery with some rhythm. His action arm is free and releases the ball from a ¾ slot. He lands square but can work on getting down the mound with more lower half involvement. Fastball topped at 80mph with some cut.
