Two way player with a wide stance at the plate. Primary pitcher but swings with intent in the box and does not get cheated. Showed some pop with a 94 MPH exit velo and went yard during BP. On the mound has good present stuff that projects for more. Upper 80's FB sat 87-89 with a horizontal breaking curve 73-75 and a changeup 77-78. Kind of prospect who looks the part now with plenty of upside remaining.
Aidan Donovan: RHP/1B, (2024) Orchard Lake St. Marys Prep, MI. 6-foot-3, 185-pound. In the box, Donovan had a max exit velocity of 96 mph. (71.6 mph bat speed average). (20.4 mph hand speed average). Sets up a wide tall stance. Had explosive bat speed, level swing plane and level finish. Created a lot of loud contact and found multiple barrels. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 81 mph. Showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.9 60-yard dash. Smooth advanced on the mound, showed quick electric arm speed, also used a longer clean arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Showed strong low balance point and uphill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic clean finish. Cutter (82-84 mph), curveball (68-71 mph). Sat with his fastball at 86-87 mph with a max of 88 mph; showed control around the zone both sides of the plate and hard slight running action with hard tight movement. (Max spin 2300; Avg 2191).
