Aidan Liedeke: RHP/SS, (2023) Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy, MI. 5-foot-11, 170-pound athletic frame. Above average in the box, Liedeke clocked an exit velocity of 90 mph. Starts in an athletic stance with a smooth slow load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was above average, showed an upward swing plane and high finish. He created some loud contact and found some barrels. Gap to gap approach. Above average in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 81 mph; had soft hands, average footwork, and a clean exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were average. Decent accuracy to the bases, used a short arm action and a ¾ slot. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.63. Capable on the mound, had an over-the-top arm angle and a short arm action with quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows max effort. Balance is tall point with a downhill shoulders in his delivery. Lands square with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 77-78 mph; has decent control and slight action with straight movement. His heavy curveball (62-64) shows decent control and some action. Threw a sharp changeup (69-71) with sinking action and arm side command. Throws a sharp slider with decent control and sweeping action.

Power: 90 mph exit velocity, average 81.79 mph. 62.35 mph bat speed average. 22.51 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (IF) Soft hands, average footwork, clean exchange. Above average.  Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were average. 

Arm: 81 mph infield velocity. Short arm action, ¾ slot, decent accuracy. 

Speed: 7.63 (60-yard).

Pitching: Capable. Drop-and-drive delivery, max effort. Over-the-top arm angle, quick arm speed, short arm action. Consistent balance point, downhill shoulders, lands square, an athletic finish.

FB: T78. 77-78 mph. (Max spin 2034;  Avg 1943). Decent accuracy, slight action, straight movement. 

CB: 62-64 mph. Decent command, some action, heavy movement.

Started in a balanced stance and had a leg kick. Had some loud contact and found a couple of barrels. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 72 mph; has a natural exchange and consistent hands. Had a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. Clocked a time of 8.0 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, showing good arm speed he used a ¾ arm angle and a long arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. He has even shoulders with consistent balance point. Lands square with a clean finish. Sat with his fastball at 77-79 mph; shows arm side command and running action. Threw his 12/6 curveball (63-65) with arm side control and gradual action. Has command around the zone and fading action on his changeup (71-72).

Pitching: On the mound holds his glove close to his chest taking a small step left and moving towards his balance point throwing from a 3/4 arm angle. Ball comes out of his hand easy while working the zone. Showed a two pitch mix with a feel for both working the zone.
