Swing Mechanics: Physically imposing frame in the batters box. Has a slight bent knee stance with a wider base. Uses a quick load with a front leg lift swinging with a top hand release.
Hit: Works the pull side with raw power. Shows lift in his swing along with consistent contact.
Power: 96 mph exit velocity.
Run: 7.13 runner with a quick first step. Has quick twitch.
Field: Shows good poise in the field working towards the ball, fields off his left leg throwing with a long loose arm angle.
Throw: 80 mph OF velocity.
Defensive Projection: LF/RF
A very good athlete with loud tools at the plate. Swing has some rawness but generates impressive pop. Goes with a small leg lift for timing while keeping hands quiet until launch. Movements could be cleaned up but natural tools looks explosive at times, showing an advanced combination of strength/bat speed for class. Displayed present barrel jump, especially to the middle of the field. In the outfield he gets to the baseball in a timely fashion using aggressive footwork. Plays through nicely before transitioning into his big crow hop for momentum. As a defender he will need to keep refining his skills out there. Behind the dish he starts in an athletic setup. Actions are fluid and easy. Exchange is smooth with room to quicken up.
