6/18/13 High-upside lefty.  Sat primarily between 81-83mph.  Stands at 6-foot-5, 195-pounds.  Impressive athlete.  Arm works fine from high ¾ slot.  Legs are a bit stiff and mechanical.  Needs to draw out more athleticism and will see jump in velocity.  Good plane down hill with clean actions.  Spins breaking ball well. Will participate in Midwest Futures Games.
2/9/13 Zielinski is a talented three sport athlete (football, basketball, baseball) at Brighton HS.  The 6-foot-5 lefty is perhaps the most impressive looking Class of 2015 recruits you will see. He has a long lean projectable body that is sure to fill out over time.  His athleticism shines through on the as he ran a 7.23 60 and was 83mph from the outfield.  But we believe his best upside is on the mound.  Despite being only his fifth bullpen of the year, Zielinski sat 80-82mph and showed feel for his change.  His breaking ball was average on this day but typically he shows good feel for it and spins it well.
