6-foot-3, 200 pound true lefty took BP with wood at this event. Although learning how to handle the bat, showed the power was evident. Makes hard contact with a line drive approach. During game play smashed a double with the aluminum bat into the gap. At 1B allows his athleticism to take over, showing good range in the field.

On the mound, the big, tall southpaw looks the part with his advanced frame. Throwing through a ¾ arm slot he delivers a 72-73 mph fastball with some light arm-side run. Breaking ball breaks gradually on a 1/7 plane at 60-62 mph. Also mixes in a 63-64 mph changeup that s hows similar arm-side run as the fastball. A lefty swinger with a ton of natural tools to work with. Advanced strength and bat speed for his age. Impressive raw power. Swing movements are fluid prior to launch. Takes a level to slightly uphill path to the baseball. A definite bat to watch in the 2020 class. Defensively, he posses an ideal frame for first base. Long and lanky frame. Looks comfortable around the bag. Shows a quick release as the ball comes out of a ¾ slot.
