5-foot-11, 185 pound strong bodied prospect. Showed good range, hands, and footwork at first base. Threw 77 mph across the infield. Ran a 4.23 home to 1st. Good Seperation with quick hands at the plate, flat bat path through the strike zone. Bat speed registered at 86 mph.

2/22/14
5-foot-11, 185 pound two way prospect.  At first base, he displays some softness in hands, and some fluidity in footwork.  Throws through a 3/4 slot with short arm action.  Topped out at 70 mph (did sit 78-81 mph on the mound).  At the plate, the right handed hitter displays a compact right handed swing with definite linedrive ability.  Starts with a balanced stance and uses a short stride.  Back foot gains ground through fluid stroke.  Also displayed some fast bat speed, and reached a top exit velocity of 85 mph off the tee.  Ran a 7.38 60 yard dash time.  On the mound he throws through an over the top slot.  Tends to land open.  Features a 78-81 mph fastball that shows slight arm-side run.  His 61-65 mph curve ball displays gradual 12/6 tilt.  Also mixed in a 66-71 mph changeup; tend to slow arm speed.

2/9/13
The bigger bodied Palo profiles best as a corner infielder. He showed solid range from side to side and softer hands. At the plate is where he is most comfortable.  He was balanced and had a smooth coupled with a short stride.  He has a bit of swagger at the plate and seems to go gap to gap.
