Hitting: Compact stance at the plate has a short quick swing path producing one of the better rounds of BP on the day. All line drives during his swings. Drove multiple balls into the gap. Ball jumped off his bat.
Fielding: In the OF works low towards the ball fielding off his right leg using a small gather step throwing low shots to the bag.
Pitching: On the mound works at an uptempo pace reaching his balance point while bending slightly. Throws from a high 3/4 arm angle. Shows a fast arm with a heavy feel on his pitches. Fastball was down in the zone Fastball 81-82 mph. Topped 83 mph. 65-68 mph curve. 72-75 mph deceptive change up.
5-foot-10, 150 pound two way prospect. At the plate has a slight crouch keeping his hands at his back shoulder while using a toe tap to load. Swing is short to the ball on an uphill plane. Worked mainly to the pull side. In the outfield fields the baseball on the glove side of his body taking a crow to set and throw during his glove transfer. Threw 80 MPH from the outfield. On the mound keeps his hands high above his head, bringing his knee up to waist height with a leg lift before throwing out of a high 3/4 arm slot. Sat 77-79 MPH on his fastball while mixing in a curveball at 62-63 MPH.
