6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect. Evans uses an open stance and an aggressive leg lift to create some power in his swing. He has fast hands and some impressive bat speed, recording an 88 mph exit velocity. Behind the plate, Evans is a quality target and does a nice job receiving the baseball. His best pop time recorded was 1.98. On the mound, Evans uses a rock back delivery to create some momentum and the baseball explodes out of his hand. Evans is raw on the mound, but has a terrific body and an arsenal of tools. His fastball sits 87-90 mph with late life. His changeup is a swing and miss pitch at 71-73 mph, and he also features an effective knuckleball at 73-74 mph.
