Logan Nelson: C/SS, (2022) Fremont, MI. 5-foot-9, 175-pound. Capable at the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 92 mph. (67.72 mph bat speed average). (22.13 mph hand speed average). Begins in an open stance with a wrapping load, then uses a toe tap. Had an upward swing plane, explosive bat speed and good extension on his finish. He barreled up a couple of balls during the round. Line drive approach. Behind the plate, he recorded a position velocity of 76 mph during throw downs; showed soft hands, aggressive feet, and a clean exchange. he produced a pop time of 2.02-2.06. Some flexibility and quiet setup. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.27. (Max spin ; Avg ).

Pitching: On the mound works at an upbeat pace moving towards his waist high balance point throwing with a fast arm. Attacks hitters early in the count while pitching to contact. Showed a curve with sweeping action.
Logan Nelson: C/SS, (2022) Fremont, MI. 5-foot-9, 160-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 88 mph. While catching, consistently had pop times of 2.02-2.05, he recorded a position velocity of 71 mph during throw downs. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 77 mph. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.4. On the mound, sat with his fastball at 73-77 mph with a max of 78 mph. Curveball (57-63 mph).
Pitching: On the mound takes a step left moving towards his letter high balance point sitting well on his back leg. Drives off the back leg well showing a feel for his three pitch mix. Fastball has arm side run and the ability to spot up on both sides of the plate. Clean arm action. Late break with some depth on his curve and a deceptive feel on his change up.
Hitting: At the plate has a knee bend set up with hands in a strong position. Uses a front leg lift taking his hands to the ball. Sprayed the ball to all fields.
Fielding: Works quickly towards the ball in the OF showing clean action, throws with an accurate throwing arm.
