Pitching: On the mound a projectable RHP has an easily repeatable delivery throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle. Ball explodes out of his hand painting the corners. Showed a strong three pitch mix, while showing with arm side run on the fastball. Polished arm that understand how to set up his pitches.
Pitching: On the mound works at an upbeat tempo arriving to his balance point sitting on his back leg throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle. Fast arm on the mound showing a three pitch mix. Sharp break on the curve down in the zone. Plus pitch that will produce swing and misses. Change up is down in the zone with good deception.
Pitching: On the mound shows a clean motion stepping to the side left with a waist high leg kick while kicking outward from high 3/4 arm angle. Fastball was easy out the hand with late life. Shows cut action on his pitches. Fastball sat 81-84 mph. Cruised on the mound throwing multiple strikes and showing the ability to throw a breaking ball in all counts. Breaking ball sat sat 65-67 mph.
Body Type: 6-foot, 172 pounds.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Clean motion with strong back side. Clean arm separation throwing with a loose action.
Fastball: Shows good arm side run with easy arm action 78-81 mph.
Curve: 11/5 shape on his curve with a gradual break that offers a change of pace 61-63 mph.
Change up: 65-67 mph change up with a sinking action.
Pitchability: Explosive arm that throws with ease. Ball comes out his hand easy. As he continues to develop command and his secondary pitch has a very high ceiling.
Swing Mechanics: Open stance at the plate with a knee bend. Taps the bat off his shoulder moving to a small hand load swinging with some effort. Finishes with a top hand release.
Hit: Contact hitter that sprayed the field. Works the pull side with some lift.
Power: 78 mph exit velocity.
Run: 8.28 runner.
Field: Choppy feet in the field allowing the ball to come into his body.
Throw: 83 mph arm from the INF.
Defensive Projection: RHP/3B
5-foot-10, 150 pound athletic built prospect. On the mound is free and loose while throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle. Fastball was powered low in the zone while sitting 76-80 mph. Curve has 11/5 shape while sitting 60-62. Arm side change up with good arm side run. Good deception on the change up sitting 65-67 mph. In the field holds the glove moving towards the ball, then shuffles his feet fields the ball beneath his body, steps and throws with a slight wind up.
