Matthew Fountain: 1B/RHP, (2022) West Bloomfield, MI. 6-foot-7, 185-pound. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 87 mph. (59.92 mph bat speed average). (19.51 mph hand speed average). In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 81 mph; showed hard hands. From the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 84 mph; has choppy footwork, and a lengthy exchange. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.39. On the mound, had a long arm action and an over-the-top arm angle with good arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses high effort. Showed falling off shoulders. Displayed a falling off finish Changeup (74-75 mph).
