Nate Curtis: OF/3B, (2023) Livonia Stevenson HS, MI. 6-foot, 170-pound lean frame. Capable in the box, Curtis best exit velocity was 85 mph. Starts in an athletic stance with a small load, then uses a toe tap. Bat speed is average, exhibits a simple swing plane and level finish. Had some loud contact and found some barrels. Up the middle approach. Raw his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 77 mph; shows choppy feet, raw hands, and a twitchy exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball to the side. Used a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot while showing some accuracy to the bag. Athletic on the mound, showed a ¾ arm angle and a quick arm action with quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed athletic balance point with even shoulders. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 70-73 mph with a max of 74 mph; showed command in the zone and lack of action with straight movement. His 11/5 curveball (63-66) shows control low in the zone and sweeping action. He shows fading action and in the zone command on his tight changeup (66-68).
