Samuel Bronkema: RHP/3B, (2023) Otsego, MI. 6-foot-4, 175-pound. Solid during batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 87 mph. Began in an open stance with a smooth load, then used a leg kick quick. Bat speed was quick, displayed a simple swing plane and high finish. Found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Pull side approach. Showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 85 mph. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.55. Smooth on the mound, showed a clean arm action and an over-the-top arm angle with good arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. In his delivery his balance point is tall with even shoulders. Lands open with balanced finish. Changeup (72-75 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 80-84 mph and topped out at 85 mph; had a tight fastball that showed running action and control feel in the zone. (Max spin 2104; Avg 1798). He showed slurvey action and feel in the zone control on his 12/6 curveball (64-68). (Max spin 1782; Avg 1683).

Samuel Bronkema: RHP/3B, (2023) Otsego, MI. 6-foot-4, 175-pound. Confident during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 89 mph. (61.0 mph bat speed average). (21.6 mph hand speed average). Starts in a tall stance with a controlled load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is present, and has good extension on his finish. Barreled up a couple of balls during the round. Base hit approach. Athletic in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 83 mph; had soft hands, athletic footwork, and a quick exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed an-over-the-top slot and a short arm action with decent accuracy to the base. On the mound, curveball (72-75 mph), changeup (74-77 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 84-86 mph. (Max spin 2165; Avg 2008).
