8/9/13 First time we have seen Brawley. Long lanky frame 6-foot-4, 170-pounds. Should garner lots of attention. Velocity still to come as he gains strength. Fastball 81-83mph right now but reports have him higher than that. Loved his demeanor on the mound. Pounded the strike zone with three pitches. Loose arm from low ¾ slot. Kept the ball down well. Workman like attitude. Extremely quick uptempo on the mound by only letting seven seconds between pitches.
