Melucci has a strong 5-foot-9, 220-pound build. He throws from a high-3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. He has a controlled tempo and strides slightly across his body when he delivers. His fastball sat 69-71 mph with some run. His curveball had 1/7 break with some late depth and sat 56-58 mph. His changeup sat 57-60 mph and had some arm side run and was thrown with near fastball arm speed. He used an effortless delivery and repeatable mechanics.
