Perkins is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2021 class. Perkins ran a 7.16 second 60 and 4.69 home-to-first. At the plate, posted an exit velocity of 78 mph, lean frame, long limbs, loose wrists, balanced and repeatable swing, produced middle contact during batting practice. In the outfield, smooth and athletic actions, aggressive to the baseball, arm works, high three-quarter release, shows off a strong arm with a top end velocity of 86 mph, ball has carry to target, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Perkins has a projectable frame with room for growth as he develops, some rhythm with his delivery, cross fire with his stride, quick and loose arm action, high three-quarter release, accelerates tempo down the mound.
