Beck is a long and lean 6-foot-2 175-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2020 class.  He ran a 7.32 60 and a 4.82 home to first.  He has an 87 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, starts with a square base, minimal hand load, no wasted movement, controlled leg lift, simple and repeatable swing, power to pull side, consistent hard contact during hitting evals.  Behind the plate, pop times between 1.88 and 1.98-seconds, 77 mph positional velocity, quick actions, staggered set up, high three quarters arm slot, exchange and footwork in sync, mostly accurate throws to the bag, some with carry.

Beck is a 6-foot-2 175-pound right-handed hitting catcher and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2020 class.  He ran a 4.87 home to first and an 89 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, balanced stance, smooth rhythm, level path with hard consistent line drives, gap to gap approach, creates leverage, loose hands with feel for the barrel.  Behind the plate, pop times between 1.95 and 2.05, 76 mph positional velocity, quick actions, staggered set up in base, over the top arm slot, gains ground replacing feet with momentum to throw, mostly accurate throws, some with carry to the bag. Beck is a 6-foot-1, 170 pound right-handed hitting catcher,  pitcher and infielder in Missouri's 2020 class.  Beck impressed at the showcase with the bat and behind the plate.  At the plate, balanced setup, smooth load with a slight wrap, fast bat speed, level bat path, pull-side approach, powerful contact, 89 mph exit velocity, 7.69 60 time.  Behind the plate, smooth, soft hands, quick and clean exchange, over the top arm slot, 1.95-2.04 pop time, throws up to 75 mph. On the infield, soft hands, clean exchange, short arm action, high 3/4 arm slot, throws with carry at 82 mph. On the mound, Beck has long limbs, lanky and projectable frame, athletic build. Beck’s delivery has some rhythm, higher leg kick, directional towards target, downhill tilt, works at slower tempo, mostly repeatable, high three-quarter release, loose arm action. Beck is a strong and athletically built 6-foot-1 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2020 class.  He ran a 4.82 home to first and has an 81 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts with a balanced stance, smooth load to back side, no wasted movements, middle to pull side contact, level path though the zone, repeatable.  Behind the plate, pop times between 1.97 and 2.06-seconds, 74 mph positional velocity, high three quarters release, smooth transfer on time with feet, clean transfer, quick catch and throw, accurate throws, some with carry.
