He showed good body control and natural instincts while blocking, quickly finding the ball. Donaldson also showed quick feet and a quick clean exchange with accurate 1.91-1.94 pop times (73-79 mph). In the infield, Donaldson moves well to the ball with range, showing soft hands and a quick transfer, delivering at top throw of 79-mph across the infield. At the plate, Donaldson has a balanced stance and showed the ability to keep his hands inside the ball with extension through contact, hitting the ball gap to gap. Donaldson also showed some speed, posting a 7.01 60.
