2/20/17 - Martin is a 5-foot-8 175-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 4.77 home to first and has an 86 mph exit velo. At the plate, thin and tall stance, in line stride, swing produced consistent middle of the field line drives, slight pre swing rhythm, level path tough the zone, repeatable swing, little wasted movement.  Behind the plate, 2.09 and 2.31 pop times, 67 mph positional velo, Behind the plate, soft hand receives the ball well, quick catch and throw, fluid transfer, momentum through the catch, mostly accurate throws to the bag.

2/15/16 - Martin is a 5-foot-8 175-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 4.28 home-to-first and 83 mph exit velo. At the plate, thin stance, balanced, controlled leg lift, hands separate from body to load, mostly pull side line drives, level bat path.  Behind the plate, pop times between 1.96 to 2.13, one of the top pop times of the event, 71 mph positional velo, over the top release, quick transfer and throw, fluid footwork, mostly accurate throws, increase in times and velos since last event.

10/11/15 - Martin is a 5-foot-7 165-pound right-handed hitting catcher in the 2018 class.  Martin ran a 7.57 60 and got down the line in 4.39-seconds.  He posted a 74 mph exit velo. Martin loads hands and uses a small leg kick for timing at the plate, level bat path, consistent line drives to the middle of field during batting pactice.  Behind the plate, has pop times between 2.12 and 2.19, mostly accurate throws, over-the-top release, clean exchange, fluid footwork, 68 mph positional velo.

6/16/15 - Martin is a 5-foot-8, 165-pound right hand-hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2018 class. He ran a 60 time of 7.40. Over-the-top arm slot, quick/clean exchange, pop-time between 2.12 and 2.34, position velo of 70 mph from catcher, 72 mph from the infield, and 74 mph from the outfield.  At the plate, Martin has an athletic setup with a bask load. Swing produces line drives. Exit velo of 74 mph. Martin has an over-the-top arm slot, with a fastball at 71-74 mph, late run.  Breaking pitch is 55-61 mph 12-to-6 curveball, gradual break, change up at 58-59 mph, slight sink.  Martin has conventional delivery and throws with regular effort.
