2/17/17 - Platt is a 5-foot-10 165-pound right-handed hitting shortstop in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 4.39 home to first and has an 83 mph exit velo. At the plate, starts slightly open, controlled leg lift with internal rotation, body stay under control, level bat path, gap-to-gap approach.  On the infield, 79 mph positional velo, smooth glove to hand transfer in sync with footwork, high three quarters release, quick catch and throw, accurate throws.

6/14/16 - Platt is a 5-foot-10 160-pound right-handed shortstop in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He runs a 7.01 60 and a 4.30 home-to-first, one of the top RHH times of the event.  He has an 81 mph exit velo. At the plate, balanced stance, controlled leg kick, no wasted movement in hands, gap-to-gap approach, singled to centerfield in game action.  On the infield, 78 mph positional velo, quick to the ball, quick and short high three quarters release, athletic actions, accurate throws.
1/18/16 - Platt is a 5-foot-10 150-pound right-handed hitting shortstop in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He has an exit velo of 79 mph and runs a 4.31 home-to-first. At the plate, loads in lower half, minimal hand movement, toe tap, line drives gap-to-gap during batting practice.  On the infield, three quarters release, fields ball cleanly in athletic position, fluid exchange, 79 mph positional velo, one of the top infield velos of the event.
7/14/15 - Platt is a 5-foot-10 150-pound right-handed hitting shortstop from Staley in the 2018 class.  Platt has an exit velo of 7.28 and an exit velo of 75 mph.  During batting practice, Platt showed feel for the barrel with consistent solid contact to the middle of the field, using a controlled leg kick, level path to extension and leverage in back leg.  On the infield, Platt has a positional velo of 74 mph, high three-quarters release, fluid footwork, mostly accurate throws.
