8/17/14 – Patterson is a highly projectable 6-foot-3, 190-pound right-handed pitcher. He has a high ¾ delivery with quick arm speed. Eli throws with regular effort, has smooth rhythm, and stays in-line with the target. Patterson had a fastball velocity range of 82-86 MPH with a heavy ball. His curveball was at 71-75 MPH with 11/5 tilt and late action. Eli also displayed a change-up that ranged from 72-73 MPH with near fastball arm speed. He worked a quick inning and was a strike pumper during the game.

2/17 – Patterson is an athletic 6-foot-3 190-pound right handed pitcher.  He has shown improvement in velo and mechanics. His velo has increased to 87 MPH, which was one of the top for the event.  He showed good command of his fastball and has an 11/5 curveball thrown at near fastball arm speed at 77-78 MPH.  His change was at 75 MPH.  Patterson has a ¾ release with a quick arm speed with smooth rhythm.  He is a still developing and will be a guy to follow. 

12/28/13 - Patterson is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound RHP that throws with long arm action and a ¾ slot that results in an 83-84 mph fastball that bores into right-handed hitters late.  His delivery has good early balance and rhythm.  He also showed a sinking 73-76 change-up.  He also worked out as an right-hand hitting outfielder and ran a 7.22 60-yard dash.  In the summer and fall he plays for the KC Barnstormers organization.
